What the carrier agreed to
Rates per kg of chargeable weight (the greater of dead weight and cubic weight at 250 kg per cubic metre). Fuel levy 18% of freight. Minimum charge $45. Tailgate $35, residential $25 when booked.
Small differences from rounding are ignored, and every flag is checked by a person before it goes into a report.

Six common ways an invoice drifts from the card
Rate above the card
The per-kg or per-consignment rate is higher than the one agreed for that lane and weight.
Fuel levy wrong
The wrong percentage, or the right percentage applied to an overcharged base.
Duplicate charges
The same consignment and charge billed twice, on one invoice or across invoices.
Wrong weight break
A consignment charged at a lighter break's higher rate, or at a weight that doesn't match the booking.
Surcharges not booked
Residential, tailgate or waiting time charged when the booking didn't ask for it. Needs a booking export.
Minimums misapplied
A minimum charge used when the freight was already above it, or on a service it doesn't apply to.
